Greetings Bravo Fleet!
There are a couple of things I’d like to share with all of you:
Staffing Updates
First and foremost, Rob Mackenzie, best known as FG on Discord, has stepped down from Security due to some IRL stuff and time constraints. I would like to thank him for his support over the last seven months as a Staff Officer within the Security Department. Since taking over the role of Security Officer, FG has been a helping hand whenever I’ve needed it most. I thank him for all that he’s done for gaming in Bravo Fleet over the last several years and wish him the best moving forward!
With that being said, I am happy to announce that Ryoko Takato, best known as RaWolfe on Discord, will be joining the Security department as a Staff Assistant! I’m excited to work with them to continue to expand our gaming lineup. Congratulations!
Gaming Award Changes
As we have continued to grow our gaming lineup and add in some new and exciting Supported Games, it’s been very inspiring to see the community’s reaction to our hard work over the past several months! I’m very glad that everyone has been enjoying this new content release as much as I have! This is only the beginning, and I’m excited to see our lineup continue to grow as we move ahead into 2025 and beyond.
One of the things we have learned, however, is now that our lineup is expanding, so too is the access to our Campaign Ribbons. Because we have started to support some very popular games over the last several years, we are seeing an influx of Campaign Ribbon submissions of gaming activity that players have amassed over the past several years, and in most instances, they’re submitting for this activity that they’ve completed before they were even a member of Bravo Fleet. Unfortunately, this is not what we intended, and as a result, we will be officially sunsetting the Campaign Ribbon effective immediately.
I know this is not the news that you were hoping to hear, but as our club and the gaming department continues to grow, I do believe this will be the best path forward for everyone. I do want to emphasize: We will honor all previous submissions that have already been processed as it pertains to awards and promotions. We will also continue working on investigating new potential games that we can add into our Supported Policy, and if you have any suggestions on any games we could potentially add, please do bring those suggestions to either myself or any member of my staff.
