New Frontiers: Act 3 Story Updates

December 10, 2025

This is it: the hard part, the grind, where it feels like we’ve been at this for an age, but the ending seems so far off. Or – is it? It’s been a slower couple of weeks, but that’s the beauty of a long event; I know I’ve taken advantage of this time to rest and refresh after a break-neck first four weeks. Now, with the final two weeks staring down at us, it’s time to roll up our sleeves and get ready to land this plane, wind up for the grand finale.

In the meantime, here’s a quick reminder of all we have achieved, across plenty of stories, over the last two weeks of New Frontiers:

ACT 3: NOVEMBER 22ND – DECEMBER 5TH

Bravo Fleet Senior Staff

USS Agamemnon

The Agamemnon is tasked with a sensitive second contact mission in the Tysla system of the Expanse. Starfleet is hoping to negotiate and offer support to the native Rosvakarr, who are prepared to leave their area on a mission of conquest in a newly constructed and vast generational warship. Agamemnon is meant to be a subtle show of strength to the Rosvakarr, in an attempt to persuade them to not venture on a mission of conquest in the region.

USS Atlas

After recovering from his collapse, Captain Corbin discovers that whatever was trying to make contact with him telepathically originates from Ivalis Two. The Atlas crew discover that those who are affected by the same visions as the captain’s, are also under the influence of a powerful neurogenic field. Tracking the source of the field, the crew team up with Ivalan law specialists to prepare an away mission to discover who is truly behind everything once and for all.

USS Endeavour

Securing a safe resolution to the extremist attack at the Orvas colony Holsavar, the crew of Endeavour have proven themselves trustworthy to the Orvas Protectorate. With this agreement for cooperation, Endeavour is escorted to the Orvas homeworld, where they explain the unlikely truth: Orvas citizens were behind the fissure that nearly devastated sections of the Alpha Quadrant and led to the transwarp corridor. Investigation of the background of these now-dead Orvas citizens, however, reveals ruined lives and technological knowledge far beyond the Orvas – the clear sign of the Vezda’s manipulations.

Task Force 47

USS Hart

Whilst Commander Dane struggles through the debris left behind by The Concord’s orbital bombardment, the crew of Hart begin a desperate struggle to rescue those left behind on the surface of the now scorched moon. It’s a struggle between the personal and the professional when Captain Dasranika has to work to save the treaty, her crew and her husband.

USS Wasp and USS Hypatia

Noli and Hypatia take the lead on first contact with the Nihari, with a revelation unleashed that the Draxans are out for revenge due to accidental Nihari links to the Vezda. Gor takes Al-Batani and Cardenas to hold the line in the face of an encroaching Draxan fleet. Meanwhile, Wasp and Mok’tal rush to the aid of a Nihari ship carrying refugees, rescuing it before a call back to the division sends them scrambling to figure out a plan.

Task Force 72

USS Blythe

The oversized Ferengi shuttles mounting the Breen Dissipator weapons have all been destroyed or capture, which brings Over-Daimon Pogg to the bargaining table. After a few days of haggling, a series of bi-lateral agreements known as the Duwallan Accords are signed in orbit above Derganix.

USS Carlsbad

The USS Carlsbad, finally repaired, recrewed, and fully operational, has finally left Starbase 72 to start on her new mission, to map and explore her assigned sectors of the Shackleton Expanse. After taking a detour where she had to find and rescue her Operations and Chief Engineer officers, and acquiring two new crew members…two rogue Jem Hader soldiers, the Carlsbad has finally arrived in the expanse and started her mission.

USS Thunderchild & IKS T’Ong

After a brutal running battle above the gas giant Paldor, the combined firepower of the battered Thunderchild and the T’Ong forced the renegade Captain K’Rath to flee the system in disgrace. One of his Birds-of-Prey was crippled, another turned on him in open mutiny, and the Mavek’du itself suffered catastrophic damage before cloaking and retreating.

With the immediate threat ended, the Secundi people of the Paldor System were liberated from forced occupation. In a moving ceremony on their home moon Secundus, First Overseer Seren Athell honored both captains with sacred Storm-Kissed Stones and permanent marks of guardianship and protection.

USS Kirk

Resolved to strike North to thwart the Tal Shiar’s plans to secure the memory-engrams of the long-dead Generals who destroyed Hectate#7b, the remnants of Lt Commander Lane Hanley’s away team reach the edge of the city of the dead and take to the poisoned seas. On their way to the polar north, they are attacked by the hideous Proto-Kraken but find no victory in its defeat as their catamaran is sunk and they continue to their destination on suit AG alone. At the site of the Northern Compact command bunker, yet another Romulan Free States away team are slaughtered by the autonomous defence system and Hanley is forced to sacrifice her last use of the Kirk’s failing transporters (and her last chance to return to safety) to summon Six of Eleven to provide a novel solution to counter an implacable foe.

Task Force 86

Da Vinci Squadron

The crews of the USS Grus and the Romulan survey vessel dig with their bare hands in the sand, in the shadows of five huge monolithic towers on the surface of Harha’kuv.  Their minds are completely under the influence of the Vezda or other hostile forces working on this ancient race’s behalf; their task, to unearth someone or something, long buried.  Whilst above the USS da Vinci having sent an away team over to the Grus, prepare for a daring rescue mission involving the two Saber’s.

USS Falcon

The Falcon’s away team has been spending time with the Palrillian villagers, learning the chilling history of their people. Forced to run away by a mysterious group of malevolent, eyeless beings who were killing and enslaving people, the Palrillians found shelter when a deep cavern system opened up for them, locking the ‘Hunters’ out. The team is now reconvening to decide on the next course of action.
