We’re approaching the end of The Devil to Pay, and the end of 2024. This campaign is our eleventh writing event since I became the BF Intelligence Officer, and over the past four years, we’ve defined, refined, and streamlined how we run campaigns, Fleet Actions, and other fun events along the way. There’ve been simple events, FA stories that changed every fortnight, unique mission briefings, the campaign table – all manner of offerings. From Borg to Klingons to the Century Storm, the Fourth Fleet has faced it all.
As the BFSS look towards 2025, I invite all writers of BF to fill out this survey about our Intelligence Office Events. If you’ve participated in even one event, or just have opinions, I’d like to hear from you. The survey covers your experiences of past events, but also gauges interest and preferences for what you’d like to see in the future. It’s quite long – this is our first survey about writing events, so I wanted to be thorough – so please note that none of the questions after the first are required. Even if you don’t have time to go through the survey in depth, just a little feedback is better than no feedback!
Even as The Devil to Pay approaches its end, I’m eagerly looking forward to 2025. Creating writing events for the fleet has been a constant case of innovation and experimentation. Sometimes it’s worked, sometimes it hasn’t. I have lots of enthusiasm and ideas for the future, so I welcome your help in deciding what we do and where we go next.
The survey is currently open, and will run until Monday 23rd December – get it in before the festive break!
