Family Matters
Description
Family is a rocky subject for some and for others it is the rock of their life. Regardless of the way someone feels they have a family and have to navigate the situation one way or another. A tricky subject and sometimes a subject that has huge potential in a story.
For this writing challenge, you are tasked with focusing on the relationship between one of your characters and a member of their family or found family. What’s their relationship with their family? Do they have a close bond? Are they distant? Is their relationship strained because of some past event? That’s what I want you to show in your submission. The whole point is to be creative in the story and that is what the story will be judged on. So show me what you can do!
