A Com-PUN-ction for Puns

Who doesn’t love puns? OK, probably plenty of people but that doesn’t stop those of us who do enjoy them from making them endlessly. I felt it was time to determine who Bravo Fleet’s best punsters are in a safe environment (safe as in without everyone reading and groaning). Below you will be given a number of topics on which you will craft your best (worst?) and most groan inducing pun.

Note: Seperate puns should be done for each topic.

Pun topics –
1) Cheese
2) Aquatic life
3) Star Trek planet names (ST Canon or BF Canon)
4) Plants and trees
5) Starfleet ships (ST Canon or BF Canon)
6) Sports

Criteria

• Each pun will be scored on a 1-10 scale based on orginality, humor, adherance to topic, and how much I groan when reading it.
• The most total points will determine the winner. In the case of a tie, the highest and lowest pun scores will be dropped and the totals recalculated.
• There is no firm upper or lower word limit to each pun, but do keep in mind that brevity is the soul of wit.
