The Legend of Goval

Ten Klingon warriors cheer and laugh and sing in the mess of their Bird-of-Prey with a cask of bloodwine, celebrating a glorious victory over their enemy.

One elder Klingon warrior beckons his comrades to gather round as he begins to weave a tale of glory and honor by the red humming lights of the ship’s interior.

He tells his enraptured brothers and sisters of the legend of Goval…

Criteria

• Write a Klingon legend of no more than 2,000 words about a warrior named Goval.
• You may have Goval perform any deed, and fight any enemy of your choosing, including one of your own creation.
• Legends will be judged based on creativity and storytelling ability, and will NOT be judged on believability and realism.
• All submissions should be submitted through the Enter Competition form.
