To Rapturous Applause

Description

Everyone knows that a good speech can be the making of any cinematic moment. Whether it’s a call to action, a moving eulogy or a stinging political retort, speeches and rhetoric are an important tool in our arsenal as writers and creators. A good speech can bring hope, cut down a foe or set the tone for a mission, sometimes all at once!

The galaxy is still picking up the pieces of the Nightfall and greets the new dawn amongst the rubble of what they once held dear. If ever there was a time to be inspirational, it’s now.

In a missive from the Palais de la Concorde, officers of the Fourth Fleet have been tasked with penning the next great rousing speech to be delivered across the Federation News Service.

Will you lift up the residents of the now-burning Risa? Maybe you’ll speak to the tragedies above Andoria? Or perhaps you will hold a vigil for all those souls lost in the Underspace.

Can you bring the audience to their feet?
Can you set the tone for the next journey towards the horizon?
Can you write the speech that will lead us into the dawn?
