USS Hood is assigned to patrol the Federation-Klingon border – the so-called ‘Klingon Neutral Zone’ – with instructions to monitor the area and keep the peace whilst gathering intelligence and ensuring that diplomatic protocols are followed. Hood’s commanding officer Alec Cody, a veteran of the Federation-Klingon War must fight against decades of ingrained prejudice in order to maintain stability in the sector.
