Summary
T’Leya is calm, intelligent, philosophical, curious and kind. She presents as a lot less rigid than one may expect from a Vulcan, yet the often infuriating devotion to logic that characterises some of her people is not entirely absent from her makeup – far from it.

T’Leya is slight of build with a prominently hourglass figure, green eyes and wavy dark brown hair that sits around her shoulders. Her skin is pale and shows a few lines of age. In human terms she might appear around forty. She is always in uniform when on the ship and is rarely seen in ay other clothing. On those few occasions she wears a simple shirt in a cotton or linen type material, loose work trousers and sturdy black work boots akin to what she would have worn on Coltar IV, except now with a little more refinement and a lot less dust.
Personality
Brought up away from Vulcan and its intransigent ways, T’Leya has a rather more pragmatic and xenophilic approach to the logic that keeps her calm and focussed. She has had to be a team player all her life and extols more that which brings people together than that which makes them different. She is curious and open in a way many Vulcans aren’t. She does however expect the best from those around her and can be vocal in her disappointment if she spots a lost opportunity or a job poorly done. T’Leya is no stranger to hardship and pain and is remarkably resilient even for a Vulcan. She has strong survival skills and can pick up any new process extremely quickly.
History
T’Leya was born on the farming colony Coltar IV in 2281. Alongside the teachings of Surak her education revolved mostly around Agriculture. She helped run the family farm, taking a more and more prominent role in the working of the farm itself and the community, eventually becoming the Vulcan representative on the Colony’s ruling council in 2335. In 2346, wishing to explore more of the Galaxy T’Leya took a role as an Agricultural Consultant with the Federation Department of Agriculture, travelling around the various worlds and colonies teaching techniques, administration and trade. In 2364, having spent a lot of time around Starfleet Officers and gained some insight into the lifestyle T’Leya applied for the Academy and was accepted.
T’Leya passed out of the Academy in 2368 as an Ops officer. Her first assignment was the U.S.S. Kestral. While on the Kestrel she gained a promotion to Lt.JG and was later assigned to Starbase 211. Promoted again in 2373 to Lieutenant, T’Leya was eventually to leave the Starbase in 2374 for the U.S.S. Denver.
