Tabitha’s aptitude tests placed her in advanced science courses, at which she excelled due to her tendency to parse over every minute detail of a project until she had perfected each part of it. She graduated near the top of her class, but her passion had always been to pick apart the bones of dead civilizations and determine what the present could learn from them.

Tabitha’s first posting was on the USS Mumbai, a Nebula class starship. Serving in the science department, she had a very fulfilling first posting, being part of numerous away teams. She showed that she had a scientific mind, as well as an aptitude for leadership.

2395-2401

Tabitha was assigned another five year cruise aboard the Mumbai, this time as the Assistant Chief of Science. Owing to numerous crises across the Federation, she did very little actual science work, but did continue to show her aptitude in leading teams and doing what little research was available. She was assimilated during the attack on Frontier Day, and owing to this, requested to sign on to a more tactically oriented ship.

Tabitha was assigned to the USS Siren per her request, along with a relatively new command team.
