Born in Hong Kong, Earth. Michael’s family is very conservative and clings to traditions heavily. Having created a trading business that spans the stars, As the family’s eldest son, Michael was expected to follow in the footsteps of his family legacy but looked to the stars and Starfleet as his way forward. He has since applied to the academy, seeking to follow the dreams that his disapproving family looks down upon.
