Etol Vhalis

Chief Science Officer of the USS Constantinople, Etol ch’Vhalis is a recent graduate of Starfleet Academy and something of a wunderkind. He attended the Academy early, but took an extra year of study to acquire a masters’ degree in astrophysics. Always ahead of the curve as a child, his precociousness made socialising with his peers difficult. This improved at the Academy, being around other brilliant minds, and by now Vhalis is chatty and opinionated, with a poor filter. He has a good sense of humour but bad judgement regarding timing or topic.

Ensign Vhalis is part of the crop of young officers catapulted into more senior positions much sooner than expected in the aftermath of Frontier Day and its ensuing personnel crisis. He was sent from the USS Swiftsure, where he and other junior officers assumed leadership roles after the disaster, with the same young crew to the USS Constantinople for long-term assignment.
