Summary
Graduated the academy and now awaiting posting to her first assignment, Madeleine is eager to prove herself as a pilot and as a young officer with dreams of maybe commanding her own vessel one day. Madeleine is a joker and a social butterfly in her off hours. but when on duty restrains herself to strive to be a proper Starfleet officer, a task that she still struggles with.
History
Born to a human mother and half Betazoid father in a small coastal town in California, Madeleine has always been drawn to the stars above and what lies beyond them. From a young age, she dreamed of joining Starfleet, and like many other young people, jumped at her chance to join the Academy. While not the top of her class, Madeleine is still a very capable young woman with drive and ambition, and an insatiable curiosity about the universe. The now Ensign Richmond is itching to jump behind the helm of a starship and make her mark.
She detests being called Maddy, preferring Madeleine, or even Richmond over a nickname. Her fathers Betazoid mild telepathic and empathic abilities didn’t quite pass down, but Madeleine can still sense strong emotions.
