Zameer Khan

Zameer was always fascinated with sciences and stellar phenomena, and couldn’t wait to join Starfleet when he was old enough. Since he was four years old, he knew that he wanted to be a scientist someday working aboard a starship, and he couldn’t wait to make that dream a reality. Unfortunately, when he was just seven years old, the starship that he was on with his mother was assimilated by the Borg. He was rescued after being disconnected on the cube at the Borg Reclamation Project and, at the behest of his father who is an Admiral in Starfleet, was returned to Earth to undergo his journey back to humanity. It was a difficult several years, but Zameer has progressed remarkably. He is professional, kind, courteous, and has the classic Starfleet curiosity to seek out new life and anomalies. He is very handsome and charming, and is always popular among the crew. After initially being rejected by Starfleet because of his Borg past, his father took it upon himself to grant him a field commission, a decision that nearly cost him his career, but Starfleet supported it in the end. Now a Lieutenant, he serves on board the U.S.S. Pioneer as the Chief Science Officer and is primarily stationed in the astrometrics lab.
