Jordan Hale

Jordan was born and raised in rural Arizona. She was always fascinated by the diversity of big cities and yearned to be part of a bigger community where not everyone necessarily knew everyone. She felt Starfleet was her ticket out. An athlete in high school, Jordan opted to become a Marine because she was allured by the strict discipline, something instilled in her from growing up on a ranch (plus the guys were cuter). The Marines wanted Jordan not only because she was fit, but also the fact she was smart, especially when it came to Intelligence work.

After the Academy, Jordan was exposed to the fleet regularly in her field and she found the normal Fleet/Marine rivalry a hindrance to intelligence cooperation, something she always strove to fix. Her superiors also recognized her teamwork so she often received shipboard assignments to show a friendlier face of the Marines.
