Summary
Dashell Antedy was a highly-seasoned scientist and historian. A native of Bajor, he spent the 2370s involved in his people’s efforts to uncover history and records lost in the Occupation, before seeking new challenges and joining Starfleet. From there, he only expanded and continued his studies, becoming the consummate omni-disciplinary Starfleet science officer. As first officer of the Liberty, he brought with him a dearth of experience, and was committed to Starfleet’s mission of scientific research and exploration above all else. He was a kindly man, full of wonder at the universe and, as a born teacher, eager to share it with those around him.
Commander Dashell was killed in action in the Battle of Proxima, liberating the system from the Vaadwaur invasion of 2402.
