Vigo Sterlah

Lieutenant Sterlah is the Chief of Security and Tactical on the USS Redemption. Stern and professional, he gives the impression of being stand-offish and taciturn. This disguises a deep sense of loyalty and commitment he feels towards his crew, and those who learn to look past his outward behaviour discover that in him, they have an ally for life.

This loyalty has been a double-edged sword in Sterlah’s career. His commitment to Captain Jericho of the Triumph saw him turn down multiple opportunities to advance, only for his reputation to be marred by Jericho’s disgrace after the Lost Fleet’s invasion in 2401. That loyalty has, however, brought him back under the command of his first captain, Tav Daragon. Rather than be cast into the hinterlands of Starfleet service, he has been brought aboard the Redemption, and offered a chance for a fresh start.
