The argumentativeness found in most Tellarites manifests for her as an overwhelming desire to make sure that her peers eat enough and dress warmly, usually refusing to take no for an answer when it comes to accepting food or a warm jacket. This motherly care extends to the ship’s engines, which she considers to be like her children.
