Summary
A marine with a history of special operations commands, West was a natural pick to plan and lead the initial stages of the ground campaign to take back Cestus and Canterra.
History
Terrance grew up in the suburbs of Washington, DC, a bustling city that is a large tourist destination due to the multiple monuments and historic buildings. It is still a regional capital and important government center. Arlington Federation Cemetery is still in operation and one of the largest military cemeteries in the world.
As a young child, Terrance’s dad would show his children the grand military history, being a retired marine, so Terrance came to admire military service.
When he turned 18, he signed up for the Marines himself, attending Marine Recruit Training at Parris Island, South Carolina.
Pulling infantry, Terrance’s marksman skills would not go unnoticed and he quickly found himself in a Reconnaissance unit. He enjoyed the work and his leadership urged him to commission.
At 23, he attended Starfleet Academy and graduated as a Marine Officer. He has commanded various marine units ever since.
