One of the few human/Megas-Tu hybrids to exist, Jaqobus, or “Jack” has lived a very long life. In that time, he has lived through the Salem Witch-Trials, the Golden-Age of Piracy, through the European Enlightenment, all three world wars, and their precursors, the beginning of Human warp capabilities, and the rise of the Federation. Through all of that time, he has come to see himself solely, as Human. That is, until he lost his family…

During the Dominion War, the colony he was residing on was devastated by the Dominion in a surprise attack. Though the Jem Hadar were driven from the system by the few Federation Starships there, Jack still lost his family. Believing that he had nothing left for him, he enlisted in Starfleet as a Security officer.
