Romulan. Served the Romulan Star Empire during the war as a medic. After being captured, helped Al-Qadir and saved his life and so they and Izzy became fast friends. When the war ended, Al-Qadir convinced Starfleet to let her serve pending a full review. A few years later she was granted the rank of Lieutenant and full citizenship status.
