Christopherson

Born to two Starfleet engenders Christopherson practically grew up, (and if rumours abord the USS Yorktown are to be believed quite possibly conceived) in an engine room.

Christopherson was two years old when his parents tour of duty on the Yorktown ended and wanting to provide a more stable life for their son they transferred back to Earth. His father, a lieutenant commander became an engineer at Earth Space Dock while his mother, a commander became a part time instructor at Starfleet Academy.

As Christopherson grew older he began to show a natural aptitude for engineering, and with the support of his parents began to tinker with computers and components in their home just outside of Newcastle. Christopherson attended the Stephenson school where he completed his early education graduating from the school with honours and a new interest in piloting and racing small craft. He computed in several amateur races placing well. After graduating from school Christopherson parents were reassigned to work at the Utopia Planitia ship yards in orbit of Mars to assist in the construction of the Romulan rescue armada.

When he was 18 (2384) he applied and was accepted to Starfleet Academy, always with an eye on Command School, but began studding for his degree in engineering and trans warp mechanics. Alongside his main study’s Christopherson also took short courses in piloting shuttle crafts, run abouts and fighters. By all accounts Christopherson was performing well, his professors were impressed by his progress and the quality of his Corse work and exams.

Things take a turn in the life of Cadet Christopherson during his second year of being at the academy. His parents were killed during the synth attack on mars. His grief turned to anger and he began to get himself into trouble. Displaying insubordination towards his instructors, disdain for his fellow cadets and began to get into fights. He left Starfleet Academy of his own accord before he was brought before a disciplinary bored.

After leaving the academy in late 2386, Christopherson signed on as an engineer for a freighter but since the death of his parents Christopherson passion for the engine room had waned and he longed to man the Conn and Pilate a star ship.
In 2389, During one of its runs the freighter was attacked by nausicaan raiders and brooded. With limited arms and even less tactical skills the crew was easily over ran but Christopherson was able to escape confinement in a jefferies tube free the captain and they managed to retake the vessel. Christopherson remained on the frater for a further two years to finish his tour of duty before returning to earth.

In 2391 Christopherson reapplied to Starfleet. After rigorous psychological examinations and hours sat with a councillor he was offered the opportunity to return to the Academy as a third year Cadet with the credits he had earned before his departure, however Christopherson decided to begin a new degree and re-entered the academy as a freshman studying tactical theory’s and extensive weapons training alongside resuming his study of piloting a star ship.
With Christophersons dedication to his study’s renewed he once again began climbing the class list until he was in the top 5% of the class.

Upon graduation from Starfleet Academy in 2395 Christopherson was assigned to serve on the USS Constantinople as a member of the security team, where he continued serve until 2399 when he was transfer to the Fourth Fleet where he awaits assignment.
