Thomas Nash

Early life

Thomas was born a only child. His mother was security officer and his dad a jag officer. He grew up right outside of San Francisco where his parents were both instructors at the academy. Growing up his life was all about following instructions to the letter.

He never really acted out, he wanted to be like his parents. He had dreams of them doing great things and wanted to be a hero.

Academy

He joined the academy and was a obsessed with his studys. Growing up he never spent much time with over kids so he never felt the need to be social.

While other cadets spent time together Thomas was elbow deep in books. He had entered as a security cadet but he knew he wanted more. He didn’t get the mental challenges he wanted.

Starbase 55

His first post was starbase 52 on the Klingon federation border. He was a security officer and found the round boring. His chief Often stated he was talented but seemed to slack due to lack of challenge.

Here he met a jag officer who shaped his future Lieutenant commander Fredrick Perkins. Perkins and him would talk about law and security. Perkins would challenge him mental as long as he did the work he was expected to with all his skill.

This resulted in him going back to the academy for jag officer program. It was definitely more challenging and one he enjoyed his brain was always racing. After he finished the program he was assigned to starbase 72.
