Reagan Byrne

Coming from a family with a long line of Starfleet Officers, Reagan broke with family tradition and enlisted in Starfleet. Getting into the Enlisted Training Center (ETC) was a piece of cake.  She sailed through his physicals and background checks and, sooner or later, found herself in a room of fellow Enlistees swearing an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United Federation of Planets.  Life as a Crewman recruit was reasonably straightforward. Having grown up with a large family, Reagan was used to no privacy, people everywhere, and everyone in your business. Reagan wasn’t prepared for the physical requirements for survival in space.  While she excelled at the bookwork and classroom skills, her abilities in the field were less than stellar.  

Reagan eventually earned a promotion to Crewman upon completion and immediately signed up for a Yeoman Apprenticeship.  This one-year program focused on the Administrative,  Diplomatic, and Legal skills needed to work as a Yeoman.  Reagan was assigned to various training vessels connected to Starbase 1 in orbit of Earth during her apprenticeship.  She enjoyed the life that the station offered but longed for something more.
