Jaron Omir

Jaron was born in Israel, on Earth on January 12, 2349. His father was an Engineer and his mother was a Pharmacist until they had a set of twin girls when Jaron was 8 years old. He was a normal kid in a normal school but he was known for not taking anything from anyone and often stood up for others as well. During his senior year in high school, his championing for others led to an incident that led to another student ending up in the hospital. The other family wanted to press charges and Jaron was given an option of jail or service in Starfleet. His father agreed to his service time and he left for the academy a few weeks later. In the beginning, Jaron was not happy with his father’s decision but he came to be able to handle it and became a stand up officer.

After graduation, Jaron attended Starfleet Tactical College. He knew this was something he would need in order to command his own ship some day. From there, he began his space exploration service.

Jaron was doing well and had made his way up the ranks to the Chief of Security aboard the USS Beethoven. It was during this posting that there was an incident that caused him to get demoted back down to the rank of Ensign.

In 2381, the Beethoven was tasked to supply security for a diplomatic meeting between several rival species. Jaron had offered his Commanding Officer several security suggestions and the CO had chosen to do things his own way. This resulted in the death of several leaders from different factions and the Captain laid all the blame on Jaron.
