Profile Overview

Tavin Azure Trevai

Skee Male

Character Description

The eldest child of Trevin and Dawnia, Tavin was intelligent, and possibly gifted, but lacked the drive to apply himself to anything for long. He drifted through his first years of education, and though his intructors and mentors did their best to inspire him, none really got through, and he was satisfied with merely achieving mediocrity. That all changed when he was thirteen, and the planetary public was informed that the Noma, their newest warp capable exploration ship, had not only survived the metreon storms in their sector of space, but had made peaceful contact with an organization encompassing hundreds of words, called the United Federation of Planets.

Everything in Tavin changed that day, and the more he learned, the more he wanted to know. There was an entire, busting galaxy out beyond the borders of the space they knew, and the one thing Tavin knew for certain, was that he wanted to be a part of it. Fortunately, he was still young enough to recover from a slow academic start, and he applied himself with a renewed passion, knowing he wanted to become a part of the Skee Space Exploration Program. His focus shifted when he was eighteen, however, when he learned that Starfleet Academy would begin accepting Skee recruits on a limited basis. After that, his goal became clearer than ever, and two years later it ultimately paid off, with his acceptance into Starfleet Academy.

Although it was difficult being so far from family, friends, and nearly all others of his kind, Tavin wouldn’t have traded his years at the Academy for anything.
