Summary
Volkov is extremely physically fit, and very intelligent. He is very tough mentally, and a very active and energetic officer. He is a warm man, despite his tough appearance, and is very social with his fellow officers and crew. He is known to be very well rounded, and his former CO’s. have commended him on his ability to adapt to situations very quickly.
History
Volkov was born in Yekaterinburg, Russia to two Russian parents and spent his childhood there. At 18, he enlisted in the Starfleet Marine Corps and joined as a Rifleman. During his time at Starfleet, he met his future wife, Celine Fordham, who he proposed to and married right after graduating. He spent 4 years as a Rifleman on his first assignment. He immediately earned a second commission and served another 3-year mission.
