Trace Hale

Lieutenant Commander Trace Hale is the chief science officer aboard the starship Federation. Having recently completed his doctoral thesis, Hale’s relatively high rank is due to his academic credentials rather than his field experience. An expert in subspace topology mapping, Hale is not fully sure why he’s been assigned to a Dreadnought or a starship of any kind, for that matter.
