Alina Montes

Captain Alina Montes is the current commanding officer of the starship Federation, the ship’s first captain since being recomissioned in 2402 after twenty years in mothballs. A pilot by training, Montes served aboard Federation during the waning days of the Dominion War as a flight controller. By-the-book, yet compassionate, Montes was chosen for her even-keeled nature and technical familiarity with the ship, though she is not personally convinced of the need for Dreadnought-class starships in the modern era.
