Saba Sanine

Born in the low gravity of one of the Federation’s many outlying mining projects, Saba is literally heads and shoulders above many of her colleagues, her tall form easily distinguishable amongst the crowd. Having your head lifted so high has its advantages, however, and Saba’s unique viewpoint is both physical and intellectual. As a child, she learned at the foot of her adoptive father, then a prospector for the colony, and has become an expert at spotting slender veins of information amongst the bulk data of science. Unfortunately, a lifetime of sideways looks and ever so slightly raised eyebrows has hardened her willowly exterior, and despite her prowess, many of her subordinates describe her as distant, though not impolite. Thankfully, through it all, she has kept her wonder for the universe, preferring to replace the curious looks of her colleagues with the glow of the galaxy.
