Appearance
Probably one of the easiest people to spot in a crowd. T’Lira’s sky-blue complexion and snow white hair attract the eye like a beacon across any distance.
Her skin, being a hybrid of Aenar and Andorian, is a much paler shade of blue than typical of the primary species of her world, but also without any of the green hue of other hybrids. This often leads others to mistake her for being pure blooded Andorain, something she finds profoundly offensive, as she has chosen to adopt the ideology of her Aenar heritage and is therefore intensely pacifist.
While she will avoid any form of violence, she is still an emotional being and prone to anger and frustration, just like anyone else. Typically, her emotions are conveyed by her antennae, which curl backwards when she is on the verge of losing her temper.
Such displays are very rare for T’Lira, though she commands her engine room with authority and is just as likely to hand out reprimands for incompetence as a Klingon is to hand out blood wine after a battle.
She is devoted to her work, forming a personal connection with the machines she maintains, often giving them an identity by naming them, and at times can be found having a detailed conversation with an EPS conduit while she performs a routine tuning with a hyperspanner.
Her purpose in life is to give any piece of technology or machine a better existence, genuinely believing they are worthy of recognition as a form of life.
Her uniform is seldom seen clean, often covered in grease and grime from many hours of labour.

Psychological Profile
Starfleet Medical describes T’Lira as an intriguing specimen of Andorian-Aenar hybridisation.
T’Lira is fortunate to possess perfect eyesight, as well as many of the Telepathic abilities of the Aenar, leading to a somewhat enhanced perception of her surroundings, which likely contributes markedly to her abilities as an engineer.
It is noted that T’Lira describes herself as a pacifist for cultural/religious reasons, and certainly her psychological examination reflects a deep repulsion to any personal violence. That being said, she is inclusive of other cultures and understands the need for violence in some situations, but she just chooses to avoid becoming involved in it herself. An exception to this would be only if her life or the life of a colleague was directly threatened, and even then, she would likely try to employ non-lethal means of subduing a threat.
T’Lira is also a very passionate and spiritual individual, and while some initial concerns may have been raised regarding her mental state, describing inanimate machines as having personality and identity, Starfleet Medical has ruled out any risk in regards to her mental capacity in this regard. T’Lira is a unique individual who perceives her surroundings differently from most other individuals; however, this is a source of strength for her, not a weakness, and may also be closely tied to her telepathic abilities.
