Shubri

Shubri has had many epitaphs over the years, and until a few decades ago, most were quietly whispered only in the confines of her home. Once matriarch (and silent accountant) to a moderately successful Ferengi business family, Shubri was one of many women who benefited from the sweeping changes introduced by Grand Nagus Zek. When Starfleet’s next recruitment drive visited the muddy world she heard the promise of a different fortune and much to the frustration of her sons and grandsons, she downed the account books to take a chance out into the galaxy. After a stint at the academy, where she collected wayward cadets like children, she joined Starfleet Operations and never looked back.

Now she is ‘moogie’ to a thousand young officers throughout the fleet, a kind and shrewd advisor with a wealth of advice both worldly and personal. Happily, her inbox is regularly filled with tales from her children, both adopted and biological. Whether it’s career advice or financial recommendations, agony aunt letters or consultations on the next outpost project, you know Shubri has been asked to weigh in.
