Number One aboard the USS San Diego. John previously served on the USS Sovereign for 5 years as a tactical security officer for a long time before becoming part of the USS San Diego’s command crew.
Due to his previous experience with ship boardings, he is the main tactical advisor also on the USS San Diego

His hair can be described as short, and the physique of his body is of a normal healthy build for a Human being, he stands at around 176cm tall and has fair skin owing to the colder climate of great Britain.
Personality
No-nonsense personality and is a strong stickler for orders from the Captain, though is a strong by the books person and has advised his captain on some occasions if sometimes the order countermands a primary directive.
History
born on Earth in England, he enrolled in Starfleet academy in 2393, graduating in 2397 to serve as a security team member on the USS Sovereign, before being assigned to the USS San Diego in 2402 as it’s number one. Currently working with it’s captain on missions patrolling the old Romulan Neutral Zone.
in the Starfleet academy, he was a cadet aboard a Miranda-class during the last 2 years, and as a result of this, he has some level of experience with starship operations which made him suitable for the first officer position on the USS San Diego years later.
His service on the USS Sovereign was between 2398 and 2402, during this time, he was a security officer, and had experienced atleast 2 ship boardings by hostile forces, due to this, and his success in repelling those attacks, he was made section security chief on deck 19 on the USS Sovereign, in 2402, he was reassigned to the California-class USS San Diego as it’s first officer.
