Syth

Syth was born on Vulcan and lived there until he was a teenager. His father was a Vulcan philosopher and his mother a scientist with the Vulcan Science Academy. Due to his upbringing and adoration for Ambassador Spock – Syth left for earth to join Starfleet.

Unlike Spock, he pursued tactical and believed his training in Vulcan martial arts, his keen intellect for strategy, and his desire to improve the defensive arm of the Federation would be beneficial. While he was only a child during the Dominion War and Borg incursions, it propelled him to want to learn ways to defend the Federation while maintaining the peaceful aims of the UFP.

He served aboard the USS Zhen’tharn, a Defiant-class starship for years until he became a lieutenant commander and was promoted to chief of security. The ship would be lost due to a first contact gone wrong, but he was one of the few survivors. The tragic loss of his ship and cost of several friends caused him to grow more inwards than normal.

Syth would briefly serve aboard Earth Spacedock for a year before being given the opportunity to serve again. He was transferred to the USS Halcyon, a Sutherland-class starship as the chief of security where he continues to serve.
