Born on Earth in Michigan, Hernando witnessed many of the events that took place from the 2360s and onwards. After his father was a casualty in the Dominion War, Hernando has felt like he’s always had a calling to Starfleet ever since, following in his father’s footsteps and deciding to join Starfleet in the security division, hoping one day to move into the command division.
