Summary
Zorvath T’Koren was the third officer to Captain Sophia Jasmine Rodriguez and was her Chief Medical Officer & Ship’s Counselor. Him and a handful of survivors managed to escape from the dying hulk of the USS Thunderdragon.
Some of his highlights include:
1) The Xeridian Incident:Zorvath successfully treated a mysterious neurological affliction affecting the Xeridian ambassador, facilitating a crucial diplomatic breakthrough.
2) The Rescue of the USS Artemis: He led the medical team in responding to the distress signal of the USS Artemis, which had been severely damaged in a battle with a rogue Klingon vessel. Zorvath’s expertise in emergency medicine helped save the lives of numerous crew members.

Born on the planet Betazed in 2345, Zorvath T’Koren was raised in a family of esteemed empathic healers. From a young age, he demonstrated exceptional telepathic abilities, inherited from his Betazoid heritage. Zorvath’s parents, both respected members of Betazoid society, encouraged his development and nurtured his passion for healing.
Internship & Starfleet Academy (2363 to 2371)
Zorvath pursued his medical education at the University of Betazed, where he earned his degree in xenopsychology and medicine. His academic excellence and natural talent earned him a coveted internship at the Betazed Institute of Xenopsychology.
Following his internship, Zorvath joined Starfleet Medical, with the help of a genetically enhanced human Doctor’s recommendation. Zorvath was drawn by the organization’s commitment to advancing medical knowledge and providing aid to those in need. He completed his residency at Starfleet Medical Academy, specializing in emergency medicine and xenopsychology.
USS Michigan, NCC-61914 (2371 to 2385)
Upon graduating from Starfleet Medical school, Zorvath T’Koren was eager to apply his skills and knowledge in a real-world setting. In 2371, he was assigned to the USS Michigan, a Excelsior II-class starship, as a Nurse Aide and has the rank of an Ensign. This entry-level position allowed him to work closely with experienced medical professionals, honing his skills and gaining valuable insight into the demands of Starfleet’s medical corps.
During his time on the Michigan, Zorvath was immersed in the fast-paced environment of a starship’s sickbay. He worked tirelessly alongside the ship’s medical team, learning from experienced doctors and nurses as they responded to various medical emergencies. From treating injuries sustained during away missions to managing the health of the crew, Zorvath’s role as a Nurse Aide provided him with a broad range of experiences.
In 2373, Zorvath T’Koren was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade and the position of Nurse. He was a Nurse on the USS Michigan for several years. He gave the physical exam to Ensign Kirok Skyrunner when he joined the crew of the USS Michigan in 2375. They became friends easily and continued to be close friends, even with Zorvath on his wife’s ship, the USS Thunderdragon.
In 2376, Lieutenant JG Zorvath T’Koren had a milestone year where he achieved a dual honor. He received a promotion to the rank of full Lieutenant and an appointment as Head Nurse on board the USS Michigan. This prestigious assignment recognized Lieutenant T’Koren’s exceptional skills, dedication, and leadership abilities, earned during his tenure as a Nurse Aide and a Nurse on the Michigan. As Head Nurse, he oversaw the medical team’s nurses and aides, ensuring the health and well-being of the crew as they explored the galaxy, encountered new civilizations, and navigated the complexities of the Dominion War era.
From 2376 to 2385, Head Nurse Zorvath T’Koren was one of the displaced crew members from the USS Michigan, which was one of many victims to the android revolt at Utopia Planitia Shipyards in orbit of Mars in April 2385. He decided to go back to Starfleet Medical for training to get his Doctor’s certification.
Starfleet Medical School (2385 to 2392)
After serving as a Head Nurse on the USS Michigan, Lieutenant Zorvath T’Koren felt an insatiable calling to further his medical education and training. He aspired to become a fully certified doctor, driven by a desire to provide the highest level of care to his patients. In 2385, Lieutenant T’Koren embarked on this new chapter, enrolling in Starfleet Medical School to pursue his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree.
During his four years at Starfleet Medical School, Lieutenant T’Koren immersed himself in rigorous academic and clinical training.
