Ak'Kinira Tinackaloko

One of 52 siblings, Akki thought her voice to be immaterial amongst the large brood of her clutch. A single small shout amongst the cacophony, she instead slipped into a quiet silence reluctantly accepting her place amongst the busy chattering clan that lived aboard their deep space hauler. Until one day, the chittering finally stopped as a deadly plague ripped through their transport group and in the deep darkness of space, only Akki’s voice was left.

Saved by a passing Starfleet vessel, Akki found herself alone amongst the multitudes of unfamiliar faces who spoke in slow drawling tones. It would have been easy for her to fall into silence once again, her culture and values seemingly at odds at this new and overwhelming variety. Instead, she embraced it; she plunged into her studies, learning the ins and outs of the Federation’s many members and the thousand other races that roamed the galaxy. Now, she speaks loudly and extensively to any who would listen about the wonders of her new world.
