Persephone Post

They say that hope was all that was left to Persephone, a story that had always felt too true to young Ensign Post. Born and raised in the mercantile colony of Freecloud, Post was orphaned at an early age and left to scrounge a life in the dark corners of the urban sprawl of the planet’s omnipresent city. Learning the ins and outs of the city’s intricate machine infrastructure, she quietly learnt that the best way to exploit a system was to understand its construction. The young woman was saved from her struggle by a Federation aid mission to the planet, and after showcasing her enviable talents with the inner workings, she was recommended to the Academy. Happy to leave the dark corners of Freecloud behind, she found herself on the next transport off world.

Though Post struggles to operate within the order and structure that underpins Starfleet, she has found her abilities are often enough to counteract the trouble her headstrong and independent nature she frequently finds herself in. Now part of Hart Squad, she is slowly finding that her unorthodox thinking is valued by a new family in ways she never expected.
