‘All things in balance’ is the mantra that T’Sunik had drilled into him in his childhood home amongst the burning volcanoes of Tyrin Prime. With almost seven decades of service in Starfleet, T’Sunik learnt long ago that order and chaos are inextricably linked, and one cannot function without the other. On the surface, T’Sunik retains the classic Vulcan stoicism, but his calm facade hides a tempest of emotions that he has honed into a tool over the years. Raised by an unusual colony of Vulcans who sought to understand the twin natures of Vulcan identity, the capable security officer long ago decided that repression was not the same as control.
