Summary
Lieutenant Junior Grade Catersha is currently awaiting her new assignment, replacing Commander Kirok Skyrunner as Executive Officer on the USS Thunderdragon. Lieutenant JG Catersha is currently on short term assignment to the USS Carlsbad, as Executive Officer, to gain experience from Captain Skyrunner prior to receiving her permanent assignment on the Thunderdragon.
Appearance
Catersha’s slender yet athletic frame exudes a captivating elegance, as if she’s perpetually poised on the threshold of movement. Personality

History
Early Life (2345 to 2363)
Catersha was born on Trill, a planet known for its unique symbiotic species. As a Trill, Catersha tried to be part of the joined species, where a sentient symbiont was joined to a humanoid host. Her whole family, her mother Trill Ambassador Vanessa Lorin, her father Professor Kaelin Vex, and her two sisters Lyra and Kaida were all killed on Betazed when the Dominion invaded and conquered it during the Dominion War.
Trill Symbiont Commission’s Training Program (2363 to 2369)
Catersha attended the Trill Symbiont Commission’s Training Program, where she prepared for potential joining with a symbiont, however her mentor deemed her unfit for joining.
Trill Diplomatic/Government Service (2369 to 2373)
After completing her studies, she started her career in the Trill Diplomatic Service and occasionally helped various Federation Ambassadors, including helping with the Dominion War peace treaties in 2375. After helping secure peace with the Dominion, Catersha went on to continue working on Trill. She had transferred from the Diplomatic Service to work in the home government offices, but did not like desk work.
Starfleet Academy (2377 to 2381)
She later requested to join Starfleet Academy at a later age than normal. She was granted entry into the Academy, with the help of a certain “troublesome” joined Trill who knew a certain black bald captain. With their special recommendations, she joined Starfleet Academy and passed with flying colors on the fast track. She also happened to be the roommate to Sophia Rodriguez, captain of the USS Thunderdragon and Captain Kirok Skyrunner’s wife. They became best friends in the academy and afterwards. Due to her record and her admission recommendations, she was given a field commission to the rank of Ensign in 2381 and assigned to the USS Michigan.
USS Michigan, NCC-61914 (2381 to 2385)
Ensign Catersha served as an Engineer’s Assistant from 2381 to 2382. She was promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade in 2379 for having a good service record and a recommendation from the Chief Engineer. She was transferred to Gamma shift Bridge Operations position in late 2382. In 2382, during an away team mission that she was apart of, the Gamma Shift Security Supervisor of the USS Michigan was killed and the Michigan’s Commanding Officer held her partially responsible and demoted her to Ensign for violating Starfleet regulations that resulted in the Security Supervisor’s death. It took Catersha two more years of perfect service to regain her Lieutenant JG rank.
She served as a diplomatic officer on the USS Michigan. Catersha’s diplomatic expertise and her experience in Trill culture made her an invaluable asset to Starfleet’s diplomatic efforts. When the USS Michigan was in drydock for upgrades at Utopia Planitia Shipyards in Mars orbit, the ship was destroyed as a result of the synthetic workers revolt. Her, like the rest of the Michigan’s crew, ended up reassigned to different posts. She decided to take an extended leave of absence and left Starfleet to deal with mental health issues from the destruction of the Michigan and loss of her friends.
Civilian Life (2385 to present)
After the destruction of the USS Michigan, Catersha went back home to Grill and reentered into civilian life there, becoming an Ambassador for Trill.
