Lucien Rousseau

Lieutenant Commander Lucien Rousseau is the first officer and chief science officer of the starship Hipparchus. With a doctoral degree in astrophysics, his expertise in studying the cosmos is surpassed only by his enthusiasm for doing so. He finds the stars romantic and intoxicating, immune to the tedium that comes along with mapping space millimeter by millimeter.
