Jena Stryker

Jena is an Orion female born with a genetic anomaly that means she does not produce the infamous pheromones that allow them to influence the males of other species; due to this she was sold into servitude by her family at a young age, working as a menial and labourer at best. She was taken under the wing of the house majordomo who saw in her intelligence and determination; promising to help her rise above her current station. He secretly educated her with help from other members of the staff, though this would come at a price. The price was for her assistance in overthrowing the family she had served. When the revolution was over, the majordomo demanded she serve as his concubine. She refused, and fled. Rescued by a Starfleet vessel, she joined Starfleet on her eighteenth birthday. She has since served as an above-average yet slightly reckless officer, with a passion for hunting pirates.
