Quinn Parker

Early Life (2364 – 2382)

Born in Los Angeles, Quinn spent much of his early life around Starfleet officers. His parents were both members of Starfleet, serving at Starfleet Headquarters. Growing up, he always excelled in his science classes, often going overboard with projects and experiments.

Quinn’s Interest in joining Starfleet began at a very young age, being inspired by his parents. It was always his goal to follow in their footsteps, and explore the galaxy as a scientist. He would often spend time with his parents in the labs, watching them make breakthroughs and discover more about the universe. As soon as Quinn turned 18, he got his parent’s approval and signed up for Starfleet Academy.

Starfleet Academy (2382 — 2386)

Parker joined the Academy at the young age of 18, signing up in the science division. With his love for science, Parker signed up for every Science course he could during his first year, being slightly disappointment when he was forced to give up certain courses to meet the graduation requirements.  In his Sophomore year, Parker decided to focus on the Astronomical science, following mostly in his mother’s steps.

During his latter years at the academy, he often kept to himself, being buried in his work, only being convinced to spend some time with friends after nearly 5 weeks straight of work. After nearly losing himself to his work, he became more relaxed and reserved than a lot of his colleagues, but still ended up graduating with honors, attaining the rank of Ensign in 2392.

Post Starfleet Academy (2386— present)

After graduating from the Academy, Ensign Parker was assigned to work alongside his mother at Starfleet Headquarters. For two years, he would learn even more about Astronomical phenomena, while getting to meet many of Starfleet’s “higher-ups.”

Meeting Captain Wolfe

After two years at Starfleet Headquarters, Ensign Parker transferred to the Luna-Class USS Ariel, with a promotion to Lieutenant Junior Grade. While serving on the Ariel, he became good friends with the ship’s Second Officer, Tiberius Wolfe. The two of them would often go on away teams together, fulfilling both of their dreams, to explore the galaxy. After Wolfe’s promotion to Commander, and First Officer, Wolfe remarked to Parker that if he ever had a ship of his own, he’d transfer him without hesitation.

After spending two years on the Ariel, Parker was promoted to Lieutenant, and made the ship’s chief science officer, a position he had long sought after. he would go on to serve this position with pride and distinction for the next six years, being promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander after having served four of those years.

The Switch to Command

In 2396, his friend, Tiberius Wolfe, was promoted to the rank of Captain and given his first command. Just as he had promised years before, Captain Wolfe offered Parker a spot on his ship. Initially, he was to serve as the chief science officer. After some consideration however, Captain Wolfe was able to convince him to take some command training, and join as his first officer of the USS Moorpark, a California-Class ship.

Serving by Captain Wolfe’s side, he would continue to venture into the galaxy. Despite being a working-class vessel, they still take every opportunity to explore and learn more about the galaxy at any opportunity. After three years as a Lieutenant Commander, Parker would be promoted to the rank of full Commander, leading him to the pinnacle of his scientific career in the early 2400’s. After being promoted to full Commander, Parker would finally put on the red command uniform.
