Bravo Fleet
Summary
Jara Melun is studying history on one of the universities of Liraxa IV, and believes that the conflict between the two factions is going to cost their people what preciously little they have. As a bit of a rebel, she began collaborating with fellow students of both tribes in order to prove that working together is possible – despite the lack of telepathic connection.
Appearance
Jara carries herself with more confidence than would be reasonable for anyone as young as her, and tends to appear taller than she actually is. It’s that confidence that makes her stand out in a crowd – from her actual appearance, she is nothing if not ordinary.
Personality
Driven, outgoing and a little too assertive at times, Jara is well-suited for a leadership position. She likes to talk (and hear the sound of her own voice), but what she says makes sense, even if it’s sometimes a little too direct. When she sees a problem, her first instinct is to fix it – sometimes too eagerly.
Those qualities have earned her quite a few enemies, but also a group of loyal friends and colleagues.
History
Jana was one of the Liraxan scholars assisting Starfleet in recovering and repairing an ancient artefact that had the potential to bring peace to divided tribes of Liraxa IV.
She became a leader during the civil war that broke out in response to the Elder’s decision not to implement the telepathic field Starfleet had suggested as substitute for the artefact.
