Summary
Cadet Daniel Cain was born on Earth in the metropolis of New York City. His upbringing was shaped by the diverse and dynamic environment of the city, where he developed a sense of justice and a strong sense of responsibility. His parents, both of whom died in service of Starfleet, instilled in him the values of service and dedication from a young age. From the age thirteen, Daniel and his younger sister Teagen were left in the care of his grandfather, who tried to discourage him from entering Starfleet after what happened to his parents. However, the stories of adventure and exploration his parents use to share with him and his sister were too big of a draw for him not to enter the service.
