Morgan will not be drawn on his history. Ever. It is as if he appeared fully formed on the docks where the Warden found him. It is quite obvious that there is some dark secret he is running away from.

Morgan is a nervous man, bordering on paranoid, but he is s skilled physician. He has an unusual trait of referring to patients in the third person as if they were subjects he were experimenting on. He is non-confrontational in the extreme but there is a diamond hard edge to him that comes out when he is forced into a corner.

While he is a master physician, everything else seems to make him nervous. He dislikes public places and avoids any form of acclaim. He has insight into issues of medical and biological nature that border on inspired genius.

Morgan gives the impression that his number one ambition is to wake up tomorrow without being dead. He seems to view the Warden as a form of protection from some unspecified terror beyond it’s walls.
