Tarman Russ grew up on a remote world in the Orion sector before being forcibly recruited by the Orion Syndicate. Escaping the Syndicate’s brutality, Russ joined Starfleet as an older cadet and is focused on eliminating the Syndicate to help provide Orions with better opportunities.
