Known for his inquisitive mind, Rob enjoys puzzles and loves a good challenge. Rob is a calm, easy-going, laid back individual which tends to serve him well in Starfleet.
He is known for his collaborative approach to his work and his ability to remain level-headed under pressure. Outside of the uniform, Rob is sociable, but reserved. He enjoys holodeck adventures, and camping.
History
Rob was born in 2375 in San Francisco, Earth, to a large family. His father, Jonathan Anderson, a respected astrophysicist, has worked at Starfleet for a long as Rob can remember. His mother, Laura Anderson, is a civilian biologist.
Growing up in an academically rich home, it was not surprise that Rob developed a fascination with science at a young age. He would often accompany his father on research outings. At school, Rob excelled in the sciences, particularly in physics and mathematics. Much to his family’s expectations, Rob decided to join Starfleet. At 18, he was accepted into Starfleet Academy, where he majored in Astrophysics and minored in Stellar Cartography. Rob’s academic performance was exceptional graduating near the top of his class.
Upon graduation, Rob was stationed at Eos Station, where he quickly adapted to the challenge of working on an older station. In 2401, his hard work earned him a promotion to Lieutenant Junior Grade.
