Starfleet Academy

Due to being born on Coridan, Tharek grew up in an industrious society with a strong focus on engineering. This contributed mostly in his high interest in engineering. Tharek got accepted in Starfleet Academy, where he specialized in engineering and astrometrics. He graduated with an acceptable grade in 2389, demonstrating a keen analytical mind and innovative problem-solving skills.

Flourish on the Mayflower

After his adventure at Starfleet Academy, he was assigned to the USS Mayflower, a Nebula-class ship, as its engineer with the respectfully non-commission rank crewman. His initial years were spending mostly on honing his skills in the starship systems and operations. In 2392, he was promoted to Petty officer, taking on more responsibilities as an assistant engineer. Tharek contributed to several critical repairs and upgrades, showcasing his technical expertise during his career onboard the Mayflower. Notable events during this period includes the response to the fallout from Operation: Gatecrasher. Where Tharek provided aid and support to the affected ships that got damaged.

Maiden voyage at the Vasa

Tharek transferred to the USS Vasa, a Steamrunner-class ship, where he continued his career as a petty officer, now specializing in astrometrics. On the Vasa, he played an important role in numerous deep-space exploration missions, mapping uncharted star systems and analyzing stellar phenomena. His work in astrometrics was highly regarded, especially during the involving missions with where the raiding campaigns pirate happened in 2398, where his navigational expertise was a crucial addition.

The key within the stars

The growing reputation led to his next promotion to Chief Petty officer in 2398 and his assignment to the USS Bismarck, a Galaxy-class ship, as its Astrometrics Officer. On the Bismarck, he led a small team who were responsible for the stellar cartography and spatial analysis. During Tharek time on the Bismarck, he saw successful completions of numerous exploratory missions, enhancing the Federation’s understanding of remote regions of space. During the resurgence of the True Way in 2399, his strategic analysis of spatial anomalies provided a key insight for Starfleet Operations.

To unknown lands

Tharek had been involved in events that are now known as the Century Storm and the Sundered Wings operation where he aided in his astrometrics skills and creative thinking. He became the Astrometrics Officer for USS Mariner in 2401 and joined them on their exploration mission.
