Alexander Braxton

Alexander (Alex or Lex) was born on April 3, 2370 to Rónán and Latanya Braxton at Lyshan General located on Lyshan in the Lyshan system close to the Federation-Cardassian border. As the only child to the owners of Braxton Shipping, Alexander grew up raised by his nannies while his mother and father worked to build their company outside of Federation space.

When Alexander did see his parents as he grew up, he was confronted with issues from the Cardassian, Federation and even the Talarian would raise issues with non-affiliated company. When Alex was ten, his father took over his education and incorporated lessons dealing with the company which had grown to a major shipping operation in the sector. From an early age, Alex knew that he didn’t see himself working for the family business and stated this opinion to his parents’ countless times who ignored what he wanted to do.

Upon graduating from his secondary home school, Rónán began to use his connections to try to get his son into an ivy league school so that he could study business. Alex discovered his father’s plan when talking to the Vice President of Security and his godfather Noak Holub. In angry, Alex commandeer a company shuttle with Starbase 129 as the closest destination where he applied for enlistment into Starfleet. It was at this point, that all communication between Alexander and his parents were cut off and the only person he talks to is his godfather, Noak.
